About Easy-GCS
The Easy-GCS Tool
The Easy-GCS is an online tool that provides researchers with easy accessible and relevant information - needed for study planning and conduct. The tool is set-up like a grid, divided into six study phases and eleven study subjects. Each grid-cell provides information to a specific phase and subject of interest. In each cell, listed Keywords provide links to relevant Topics. By choosing a Topic of interest, allows the user to access Topic relevant information. Information is provided by answering three main questions: “What is it? / Why is it important?” “What do I need to do?” and “Where can I get help?”
Target Audience
All professionals involved in clinical studies as sponsor-investigators, site-investigators, research coordinators, monitors, auditors, data managers, biostatisticians and students seeking further education in their scientific career.
Project Funding
This project is an initiative of the Project Management Platform of the Swiss Clinical Trial Organisation (SCTO). Financed by public funds SERI (State Secretary for Education, Research and Inovation) and the SCTO CTU Network.
Authors
All SCTO Platforms contributed atively with content (and/or) content review. Various other experts from the CTU Network, the Swiss Biobanking Platform (SBP), includig the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK), have contributed to the professional succes of this guide. The main coordinator and content provider was the Project Management Platform of the SCTO - a group of clinical research experts from the following Swiss institutions.
